A great story from our mighty 15-3’s- “A soggy A great story from our mighty 15-3’s- “A soggy season is better than no season.” - best of luck for the semis lads. They will be at Parry Park this Sunday at midday doing their best and would love a cheer squad.

The 2021 COVID impacted season was behind us. It was great to see people out and about, the fields all ready for those studded boots and the sun shining…. Wait! Where was the sun? Who is Aunty La Niña and are we washed out again? Why is Dribl my most commonly visited website and when is this rain gonna stop?

Despite the challenges 15-3’s are doing really well and in fourth position on the ladder. We could be
the major upset of the tournament.

Under the guidance of super coaches Benython and Nelson, supported by families - we are set to play
the semi finals this weekend.

Whatever the outcome the team were awesome. Never giving up and always having eachother’s back. Their respect of coaches and opponents in fierce competition really showed the Hurlo Way- making this group of 15 year old teenage boys winners every time.

Go Hurlo!!!

They have really bonded during the season, but have had some bad luck with injuries and covid throwing a spanner in the works. Throughout the season they’ve had great support from the O35s, sometimes at extremely short notice. They are grateful to be player-coached by the wonderful T, who has gone above and beyond in planning fun and engaging training sessions. They are excited to be unexpected in the finals, and grateful to be able to play at least one more game of the season.

With many new players coming into the team, the team have gelled really well and played some great football. They made the semis and put in a great effort in a tight game vs Strathfield who won in golden goal extra time. Looking forward to the future with these players.
