The Strip

Back in 1924, the team sported long-sleeved guernseys, featuring sky blue and white vertical stripes, setting the stage for a legacy of distinctive attire. As time marched on into the late 1930s, the junior squads switched things up with panelled shirts, while the seniors held onto their iconic big ‘V’ look.

The 1950s saw a nostalgic return to those vertical stripes for the Sunday games, but by 1975, the team’s look took a fresh turn. The strip evolved into a predominantly white ensemble with tasteful blue trimmings, proudly bearing the ‘Hurlo’ lion emblem, and the shorts shifted to a striking blue.

Commemorating the club’s 75th anniversary, the uniform saw another tweak. A classy collar made a comeback, and the socks transitioned to a sleek all-blue, moving away from the previous white with blue trimmings, marking yet another chapter in the club’s sartorial history.
