Teams can now train together – 10 person limit lifted
From 13th June we are able to have 20 players in a group, because the restriction to 10 has been relaxed. Social distancing and all other COVID safe training framework requirements still apply:
– 1.5 m physical distance, no tackling or game drills
– Arrive at training 5 minutes before your session and leave promptly after (arrive via Flinders Road, leave via Vera Ave); come ready for training
– Don’t come to training if you are unwell or have symptoms associated with COVID19
– Use hand sanitiser regularly
All these details are on our website under the COVID Information page
What this does mean is that each team will be able to train as a whole team on their quarter pitch area.
We will do some re-jigging of the training allocation to adjust for this, but we will still be using the shorter sessions for now.
We do have (weather permitting) field space available on Saturday and Sunday at Beaman for training, but you MUST book this with Gerry, and you must still abide by all the same rules. This is space leased by the club on weekends as well as on week nights, and so all the same requirements apply. If your team is interested in weekend training please contact Gerry.Choate@gmail.com
