Registrations are OPEN!!!
| Dear Hurlstone Park Wanderers Family, Welcome to the Hurlstone Park Wanderers Football Club 2019 season! Registrations are now open for PLAYERS. We will open registration for coaches and managers later this month. All returning and new players should register by February 11th While we do not ‘cap’ any of our age groups and will aim to place all players who are registered by this date, we do sometimes need to close registrations depending on total player numbers, so it is best to register early if you can to guarantee your place on a team. This season all registrations take place in a new online system called “Play Football”. If you have played with us before, your details will have been moved across to a Play Football Account that you access using the email address with which you have registered with us before. You will need to request a new password, and after that the whole process should take less than 10 minutes. As this is a new system for Football NSW and for us there may be some teething issues so please raise these with us and we will do our best to follow-up as quickly as possible. All players will need to upload new photo this year. Your photo will need to passport style and have been taken in the most recent 12 months. If you use an iPhone to take your photo, you might need to take it with the phone horizontal, as we have noticed some glitches with flipping photos. |
| NSW Government Active Kids rebate If you are registering a junior player and intend to use the $100 Active Kids Rebate you will need to have their voucher number ready before registering online as the amount will be deducted automatically from their fees. To receive the rebate, please register on the link below – https://my.service.nsw.gov.au/MyServiceNSW/ActiveKidsVoucherRequest The NSW Government will provide a $100 voucher to parents/guardians of school enrolled children (5 – 18 years’ old). You will be asked to enter that voucher number during registration of your child. |
| HPW Family Rebate The club will continue to offer a family rebate in the 2019 season. This rebate applies to Junior players only. The rebate of $25 per registration applies to the third or more registration within the same family, provided that all players for whom the rebate is sought are juniors. For example, for a HPWFC playing parent who is registering two or more children, the rebate applies to the second child and any additional children. If there are two HPWFC playing parents in the same family the rebate will apply to the first and any additional children. The rebate will be available after all registrations are completed and will be via a form that can be downloaded from our website. |

There is a small increase from 2018 and the reason for this increase is that FFA and FNSW have increased the amount that FNSW and FFA charge they charge clubs for affiliation.
The Play Football system will calculate the total costs as you go through registration- please ignore anything but the final amount charged- the final amount should be consistent with the table below.
| Registration Classification | Amount |

| Over 18 FT Student | $360.00 |
| 18 years | $315.00 |
| 10 to 17years | $290.00 |

Grading
Grading will take place in accordance with the HPWFC Grading Policy for u9-u16 (mixed and boys teams) for u11-u14 (girls teams) and for the BBC and GMT teams. Grading dates are 3rd and 10th February 2019. Any player wishing to be considered for a graded team must attend at least one grading session.
If grading is required for other age groups your age coordinator will be in contact.
Age groups and Age Coordinators
For the purposes of age-eligibility, your age group is defined by the age you turn this year. For example, a player who turns 9 any time in 2019 is eligible to play U9- whether their birthday is in January or December.
If you want to discuss team placement or have any questions about the season, your first point of contact should be the relevant age coordinator. Contact details can be found on the link below:
