Grading – Juniors & Youth
Grading at Hurlstone Park Wanderers is not aimed only at building the most competitive Division One teams, but also on maintaining viable and competitive teams in all divisions. The club values all of its teams and players.
The emphasis is on building, promoting and maintaining participation from U6 to adulthood. The grading process aims to form teams with players of comparable skills. The club acknowledges that teams also form through school and friendship groups, and this is to be encouraged and maintained. As such, not all players are required to be graded, only those who wish to be considered for the higher division teams.
Grading days (Mixed teams and Boys teams)
The Hurlstone Park Wanderers Football Club is organising grading days for the 2018 season. The age groups to be graded are this season’s Mixed U9-U12, U13-U15 Boys and U11-12 Girls.
The 2 grading days will be held on Sunday 11th February 2018 and Sunday 18th February 2018 at Yatama Park, Jarrett St, Clemton Park.
Any players wishing to be considered for graded team MUST attend at least one grading session.
The grading days are organised by the HPW grading sub-committee, which oversees the entire process. The actual grading sessions are run by independent assessors. Results of the grading process will be advised by your Age Coordinator. It is anticipated that this will be finalised by early March.

Grading for Mixed/Boys in the U9 to U15 age group will be held on Sunday 11th February 2018 and Sunday 18th February 2018. [NOTE: Updated times as of 3/2/18]
